Despite the snow and cold weather, the 2015 Rhode Island Home Show proved to be one of the best years in recent memory. Over 7,500 New Englanders visited the Rhode Island Convention Center March 5, 6, 7 and 8 to see over 200 exhibitors from Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Over 625 people stopped in to our booth and I personally spoke with 178 people.
One of my biggest takeaways from the show is I realized many homeowners and businesses are not aware of new flooring options that are available to them. Fusion flooring, for example, is new for 2015 and is a super product that most consumers are not aware of. Fusion is a hybrid that installs like a laminate and performs like a Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT). It’s an exceptional fit for bathrooms, kitchens, and mudrooms because it’s extremely durable, waterproof, does not contract or expand. It has a real wood texture and will never need waxing so it’s easy to maintain. There are no glues or adhesives in the flooring material so it’s formaldehyde free and safe for your family and the environment. Wood flooring will always be my first love but the look and feel of Fusion floors combined with how I’ve seen it perform has made it a close second.
